SAN ANTONIO, March 17, 2015 “ Zachry Hospitality today announced it finalized the purchase of the Embassy suites San Antonio – International Airport and the appointment of Marie Surls to the position of General Manager for the property.

With a long and distinguished career in hospitality, Surls brings a wealth of experience and an affinity for San Antonio to Zachry newest property.

Marie Surls is an accomplished hotel executive. We are excited to welcome her to the Zachry family said Robert Thrailkill, vice president of Zachry Hospitality. Marie vast knowledge of the San Antonio market, as well as this property, will be instrumental in continuing the hotel success.

Before this appointment, Surls spent 25 years in the hotel industry with Hilton Worldwide. Surls career includes various executive positions at Embassy Suites San Antonio – International Airport as Human Resources Manager, Assistant General Manager and most recently, as Area Director of Sales.
