SAN ANTONIO, January 15, 2016 “ Zachry Hospitality today announced the promotion of Christina Arzola to Director of Sales at Staybridge Suites San Antonio Downtown Convention Center.

"Christina has been key to our success, and we are thrilled to promote her to this integral position within our organization," said Brian Getman, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for Zachry Hospitality. Arzola joined the company in 2013 as Sales Manager at the hospitality group's flagship property, Hilton Palacio del Rio, on the San Antonio River Walk, where she held the position of sales manager for the 36-100 room nights on peak market.

In her new role, Arzola will lead the hotel's pursuit of growing its market share within the booming San Antonio conventions and travel industry, as well as develop partnerships with local businesses and community leaders.

Arzola brings 20 years of experience to her new role at Staybridge Suites San Antonio Downtown Convention Center. Prior to Hilton Palacio del Rio, she held sales and supervisory positions at DoubleTree by Hilton San Antonio Downtown, Embassy Suites San Antonio Airport and Embassy Suites Northwest.

She has also held positions with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities and San Antonio Convention Facilities. Arzola received a Bachelor of Science in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management from Texas Tech University.
